WHAT DO I DO?
I am an interdisciplinary designer that utilizes technology to rethink space and elevate human experience. I have been pursuing my research in the digital Arts Lab at Charlotte in the intersection of architecture and technology, centered around the dialogue between physical and digital space and how they impact human experience.
Born in Tabriz and raised in Tehran - Iran, I started to work and experience architecture in practice right after I received my BA in Architecture.
After pursuing my master's in Architecture and Information Technology in the U.S., I continued to explore architecture as a construct of societal, programmatic, and cultural forces as it evolves and interfaces with today's information-driven technology and environment.
Having lived on both east and west side of the world, and traveling extensively through East Asia, Middle East and parts of the US has given me a unique appreciation of the power of architecture to shape the way we live and how and why things become meaningful in our lives. Along with architecture, I enjoy traveling, exploring cultures, culinary adventures, calligraphy, and learning new things.
